Directions
Shake well before use. Apply liberally to un-cleaned ear, filling ear canal. Gently massage and work into area. Wipe to remove excess. Apply once daily for 7 to 14 days Safe for extended use.

This is the best ear solution I have every used. It cleaned the ears and also has a numbing effect that helped stop the head shaking. Also, I don’t have to repeat it every day because it does such a good job it’s not necessary. My dog doesn’t mind getting her ears cleaned since I’ve used this product I think because it feels good, unlike the other things I tried before this one. No more chasing her around and holding her down!!!

Easy to use. Recommended by neighbors daughter. Worked Instantly for Pyrenees. His one ear has been a consistent problem. Had his ear cleaned up – except for the infected deep inner ear, used this stuff the day it was delivered. Next day when checking his ear to clean up and use again, outside his ear was Super Dirty. Cleaned it up, put some drops in. This went on for a couple days. Didn’t occur to me that apparently the Zymox was working, and I guess maybe he was shaking his head and the nasty stuff from the infection was coming out…until like the evening of the 3rd or 4th day. I proceeded to check and clean his ear and all the nasty wasn’t there. Also, that’s when I realized he was no longer shaking his head and being all annoyed.Dear Zymox maker people – Please, Do Not Change the Formula and screw up what works – like So Many manufacturers’ and producers do.

Wow the Zymox Otic works great. It took about 7 days for my dog’s ears to be clear. But about 2 days for him to stop shaking his head. Now I just maintain his ears twice a week with the Zymox ear cleaner and he’s good.

Effective but very dryingThis was a very effective ear cleaner, but it made my dog’s pinneas (ear flaps) very dry and scaly after just two applications. May be a little too strong for dogs with sensitive ears or skin.EDIT: After realising that all Zymox product reviews are lumped together on their product range, clarifying that this review is for the 1% hydrocortisone product. Sensitive dogs may do better with the 0.5% hydrocortisone or hydrocortisone-free products.
